Furnished housing aggregator, Nestpick has released a top 100 list cities best suited millennial travel and migration. Nestpick compared thousands of cities worldwide to discover which are the most appealing to millennials, and why. Pairing industry knowledge alongside intensive research Nestpick identified 16 factors that matter to millennials including housing affordability, immigration tolerance, equality, and transportation accessibility and of course, nightlife. According to Ömer Kücükdere Nespick’s Managing Director, they embarked on this journey to better understand the needs and desires of Millennials, “At Nestpick we’ve witnessed firsthand a clear pattern of migration among Millennials from all over the world to specific cities,” says Kücükdere,  “UNWTO data confirms that travellers among this generation choose these same cities for their leisure time, confirming a clear appeal of these cities over others for this group.”The research is threefold. Primarily serving as a PSA for millennials looking to migrate and travel around the world, but also as an interesting case study pointing to what matters, and will continue to matter to millennials when it comes to living standards and expectations. Lastly, it serves as a call out to what standards of living are to be expected by the Millennial generation, and a challenge for cities to get with the times. Although the study is centered around Millennials, it begs a question for consideration for anyone with the travel bug... where will you go next? Topping the list are Amsterdam, Berlin, Munich, and Lisbon, with Vancouver coming in at tenth place-- just behind Paris. See the list at www.nestpick.com/millennial-city-ranking/
