Monogram University District Brings Speciality Coffee to NW Calgary

Monogram University District Brings Speciality Coffee to NW Calgary

Calgary has an incredible coffee culture and many of Canada’s most well-known and respected coffee roasters call this city home. For quite some time, in order to get a great cup of speciality coffee, you pretty much had to venture into downtown or to the southern suburbs. This all changed recently with Monogram Coffee opening their fourth location (and first in NW Calgary) in the University District. This exciting new community is home to some great shopping and dining and was the perfect spot for Monogram to open up shop.

Monogram has been at the forefront of growing Calgary’s coffee culture and their University District location was designed to really share their love of coffee with their customers. Their garage-door style front window is incredibly inviting, welcoming the University District community to grab a quality coffee as they kick-start their work day, or stroll the streets shopping on the weekend.

The team at Monogram has always worked hard to not only brew great coffee but to help educate their customers, and are always willing to answer questions that people might have. Monogram has long sought to help their customers to brew great coffee at home, and you can buy the necessary coffee gear and some freshly-roasted beans to do just that when you stop by the cafe.

Their University District location has an enticing menu featuring tempting baked goods, espresso-based drinks, filter coffee options, and their new coffee-slushee (which is unique to their NW location). It’s a perfect summertime drink that I would highly recommend for a pick-me-up on these fine days. But in all honesty, everything on the menu is delicious. Don’t just take my word for it, get down there and try it for yourself. You’re going to love it!
